What's with 9-11 year olds these days? When I was ten, I had so many better things to do than 'date'. It isn't dating if you're in fifth grade. You're probably not going to get married to your fifth grade sweetheart, so eventually you're going to have to break up with her, so what's the point?

You're ten years old. In the next years you'll be a completely diffferent person. I know you feel grown up now and think you're ready; but you're not. You're still a kid, and you need to accept that. Enjoy being young while it lasts. You'll be an adult before you know it. Be patient.

To all the preteenagers out there: You probably think I'm being stuck up because I'm older than you and don't want you to have fun. But that isn't it. Now I look back and realize I was just a dweeby little kid. Go read a book or climb a tree; you don't need a significant other. Trust me, it is more drama than you can handle.
