Welcome to part fifteen on Teenage Chronicle! (: I am SO sorry it took me forever to make this one. I promise I won't take as long this time. I've just had a busy schedule lately. But anyways, here's Pt. 15!

  1. “Bye Ezra.” Jack waved at Ezra and she gave him a thumbs up. I rolled my eyes and opened to door. “Ow!” I got hit by a hand. “Oh sorry I was about to knock but you opened the door and- Jack?” Patch raised an eyebrow. Patch knows Jack? "Patch." Jack responded. "What are you doing here?" Patch asked. "He's here with me." Ezra blurted out quickly. I stared at her and secretly thanked her. "Yeah." Jack played along. Patch just continued to stare at Jack. "Well I've go to go." Jack said. "I'll walk you." I replied and tried to walk past Patch, but he cut me off. "Where are you going?" He asked. "Patch, I'm walking him to the door, not going on a cross country robbery." I replied and shoved past him.
  2. Jack and I reached the door and I stood there quietly waiting for something to break the silence between us. "Thanks for letting me hang out here." Jack smiled at me and my stomach fluttered with butterflies. His eyes were shining, and I really couldn't stop staring at them. They lured me like nothing else. "No problem." I smiled back. I heard a car honk in the distance. "That's probably my mom." Jack said. I nodded in response. "I'll see you at school tomorrow." He said and walked closer to me. "Okay." I responded. He studied me for a few seconds and hugged me. He gave me the same adrenaline rush, and I felt my body spark in response to his body heat. I hugged him back, loving every moment. I couldn't understand or explain the attraction I felt towards Jack. It was just.. there. "Bye." He pulled away slowly and opened the door. I watched him walk out and shut the door behind him.
  3. After I shut the door I walked into the kitchen finding the guys sitting there. Only Jake wasn't here with them yet. I was still ticked off at them for saying I couldn't handle myself because I was a girl. So I ignored them and grabbed some food. They stared at me as I walked away and back to my room. I opened the door and saw Ezra sitting back on the couch. "Sit. Now." She pointed to the seat next to her. "Great, What did I do this time?" I asked and sat down next to her. "Uhm I don't know. Let me see. Oh yeah! You made out with Jack Lewis." Ezra looked at me and giggled. "Oh.. Right." I blushed. "So tell me ___. Is Jack a good kisser?" Ezra grinned. "I prefer not to talk about this right now." I replied. "Aw Come on! I've never seen Jack with a girl, well I mean like actually into a girl. He's all sports, and drums, but then there's you." She went on ranting. I zoned out and replayed the night in my head. I have a really big attraction towards Jack that I can't even explain.
  4. Someone knocked on my door and Ezra stopped talking. "Are you going to get that?" She asked. "Well since your not." I stood up and walked over to the door. I opened it and saw Jake. "Hey." I smiled at him. "Hey." He replied. We stood there for a silent moment. "Come in!" Ezra shouted from behind me. I moved aside as he walked in. "Hey Ezra." He said as he sat down next to her. "Hello." She giggled back. "So how's Cory?" She asked. He raised an eye brow. "Haven't you guys talked?" "Nope." Ezra responded. Jake shrugged. "I don't know, but he should be coming back soon." Jake said and Ezra jolted up. "He's coming here?" She asked. "Yeah, he's staying here with us." Jake responded. I had no idea Cory was going to be staying with us. "Oh. Uh I have to go." Ezra stood up and walked in front of me. "I'll be back." Ezra said and I knew she was going to talk to Daniel, her other boyfriend. I laughed as she walked out.
  5. "What's wrong with her?" Jake asked. "Nothing." I laughed. I studied Jake for a moment. His golden blonde hair still looked soft and his gorgeous blue eyes were shining. "It's been awhile since we've hanged out." Jake said. "I know. But now your living with me." I said and he laughed. "Yeah, that's the good thing out of all of this." He smiled at me. "How are things between you and the guys?" I asked. "Awkward, and tense." He replied. I shrugged. "Now that they know the truth, hopefully you guys will end up friends." I said."Maybe." He looked over at me. "I should go." Jake stood up. "Why?" I asked. "I don't want you getting in anymore trouble with the guys." He responded. I stood up and grabbed his arm. "The guys don't tell me what to do. They're not my parents." I replied with anger boiling inside me. I was tired of always having to be 'careful' because of the guys. They can't make decisions for me.
  6. "I want you to stay." I said staring at him. He looked down at the ground for a moment. "Alright." He finally replied. I smiled and hugged him. His body tensed up and he let out a painful groaned. I instantly pulled away. "Whats wrong?" I asked. "Nothing." He replied through gritted teeth. "No, something wrong." I replied. He slowly walked over to the couch and sat down. I walked over and stood in front of him. He pulled of his shirt, and being me, I stared at his abs. Jake then turned around and I gasped. He had a giant gash on his lower side. "What happened?" I asked. "I ran into some of Erika's men. Don't worry they didn't follow me back here." He replied. "I don't care about them! Are you okay?" I asked and observed the wound. It looked like it was getting worse by the second. "I don't know. It hurts." He replied. I was really about to go on a hunt for Erika. She was hurting everyone I cared about and it was driving me crazy.
  7. The gash was a couple centimeters deep, and a few inches wide but pretty bad and it was still bleeding. "Let me get Ezra she can heal you." I said to him and he nodded. I ran out of my room and sprinted into the living room. She wasn't there and I had no idea where she was so I went into the kitchen. "Where is Ezra?" I asked quickly. "She was just in here but I think she went into her room." Alex replied and I left as soon as he told me. I finally found Ezra in her room talking on the phone. "Ezra." I whispered. She didn't hear me. I heard her giggle into the phone. "Ezra." I said a little louder. Still no reply. "Ezra!" I yelled and she jumped up. "What?" She yelled back. "I need you. Right now." I demanded. "Can't you see I'm o-" "Now!" I yelled. She was surprised by my tone and hung up. "What do you need?" She asked. "Jake is hurt pretty bad." I said and walked out of her room. We both quickly walked back to my room.
  8. We walked in and I saw Jake laying on the floor wincing in pain. "Oh my god." Ezra gasped. I feel to my knees and helped him. "Its burning!" He groaned through gritted teeth. I could tell he was in so much pain. Ezra came next to me. "Go get my dad." She ordered. I nodded and ran to the kitchen. "Xavier, we need your help. There's an emergency." I said and he stood up. "What happened?" He asked. "Come on." I said and led them back to my room. Ezra was in front of Jake who was now in a cold sweat and was shaking in pain. It hurt me just to watch. "It's not working!" Ezra replied in panic. "What do you mean it's not working?" I asked. "I'm trying to heal him, but it's just not. My powers aren't doing anything. I don't know what he got hurt with." Ezra replied.
  9. "It must have had some sort of poison on it. Or a deadly weapon." Xavier explained. "I need you to bring the boy to the other side of the house." Xavier ordered. "To our rooms? or the kitchen?" Calisto asked. "No. To the hidden side." Xavier looked at Ezra. "I'll show them." She nodded. "Hidden side?" Josh asked. Patch walked over to Jake. "Help me out guys." He said and Calisto walked over. Calisto grabbed his legs and Patch picked him up from his under arms. Ezra walked out of my room and led us to the basement. We walked downstairs and she showed up to a hidden door. "What is this?" Alex asked. "We hide it, in case someone ever breaks in." Ezra said and walked in. We followed behind and walked into a hallway full of different doors. She opened a door and it looked like a scientist's lab. "Put him on that." Ezra pointed to a glass table in the center of the room.
  10. Patch and Calisto walked over to the table and slowly laid Jake down. He winced a little. "What happened?" Patch asked. "He ran into some of Erika's men." I answered for him. Patch looked at me. "No. they didn't follow him." I scoffed. Patch nodded. I didn't even care about the men, I knew we could of easily handled them. All I cared about was Jake right now. Why wasn't Ezra's power working? I didn't understand at all. Xavier walked in. "I'm going to need some time in here by myself." Xavier said. We nodded and slowly walked out of the room, leaving Jake behind.
  11. We all decided to wait in the living room. "So what happened?" Alex asked. "He got into a fight with some of Erika's men so they wouldn't find ____." Patch explained. "oh." Alex replied. "I don't get why your powers weren't working." Calisto said to Ezra. "I know." Ezra replied. "I just hope he's okay." She added. "Yeah." Patch agreed. I looked over at Josh and noticed that he was really quiet. I didn't feel like talking much either because I was worrying about Jake. "I'm sure he's going to be okay though." Patch said. Calisto and Alex agreed with him. "____ your really quiet." Alex said. I just gave him a look. The guys grinned. "yeah, why so quiet?" Patch teased. I bit my lip, restraining myself from lashing out at them. "When you do that it drive me crazy." Patch said. I rolled my eyes. "You really think I feel like talking to you guys after you all said I couldn't handle myself?" I finally spoke up. "So she talks." Alex laughed. "You guys are going to get your asses kicked by her if you keep making her mad." Calisto said to them. "At least your being smart." I said to Calisto. He smiled in response. "I doubt that. It's two against one." Patch laughed. "Dude, never under estimate a girl. Especially when she's mad." Josh said. He wasn't quiet anymore. "Yeah, don't do it." Calisto agreed. Patch and Alex just laughed.
  12. I was annoyed that Patch and Alex were making fun of me now. Especially since they know I'm mad at them at the moment. I mean I know they're just kidding, but I wasn't in the mood for joking around when Jake is in pain for who knows what reason. I heard a door open and I perked up. I saw Xavier walk into the room. "Is he okay?" I blurted out before any one else could. Xavier looked down at the ground and then back at us. He shook his head. "I'm afraid not." He walked towards us. I felt a knot slowly twist itself in my stomach. "What do you mean?" Patch asked. We were all alarmed at this point. Xavier stared at us. He had a sad look in his eyes. "He's dying."
