  1. The old man from the bus! "What is he doing here?" I thought. The whole fact that he didn't take my money earlier still confused me. I took a closer look at him, trying not to seem conspicuous. He had a gay-white beard and hair. His hair line was receding and he really needed to shave. Sorry, but that's one of my pet peeves.
  2. "You're quite stealthy," came a male voice from behind, scaring the crap out of me. I turned around and was about to give whoever it was a piece of my mind when I saw him. He was tall, slightly tan, had dark brown hair, kind of like the color of chocolate, and the most beautiful green eyes I had ever seen. I stood there, unable to move , and it felt like my tongue was frozen.
  3. He smiled at my inability to move and said "I'm Ruari, nice to meet you. May I inquire as to know your name?" He was obviously being so formal to nettle me further, but in a teasing way. His plans of nettlement succeeded and I immediately got my voice back. "I'm _____." I said, "Nice to meet you too." He smiled and I didn't notice how white is teeth were before. I shook myself to back to reality. "So, _____, what exactly are you doing?" Ruari asked. "Uhhhhh.... nothing!" I said. I felt kind of stupid for stalking an old bus driver. Wait, why was I stalking him? Oh yeah, because he said I didn't have to pay him. Even in this world, that must be weird.
  4. I glanced at the old man. Darn...... he's gone. Ruari's cuteness distracted me. "Again, nice to meet you," I said as politely as possible. I walked away in search of the old man. There were a lot of people at the party. "Darn the crowds of people, darn them!" I muttered under my breath. "Why I you cursing the population now?" It was Cedric, tapping my shoulder. What is up with guys sneaking up on me?
  5. I sighed, "Why is everyone sneaking up on me?" "I'm not quite sure what you're talking about, but Nair has been looking for you. She wants you to meet some of her friends." "Nair?" I asked. "Oh sorry," he said taking my hand and moving me through the crowd,"I call Anairir that for short."
  6. We went up a few flights of stairs, wow this house is giant, and through some doors. Finally, we reached Nair and a few of her friends. "_____, you're here!" she said excitedly, "Alright, I'll introduce you to all of my friends!" The room was half filled with Nair's friends, but don't worry, it was a small room. I was introduced to a lot of people who I promptly forgot. When the room was empty, I was going to leave when Nair grabbed my shoulder and said in her cheerful tone, "Wait, there's one more guy." I turned around expecting to see someone who'd forget, but no life's not that easy is it?
  7. It was Ruari. I know I said he's cute, but something about him made me feel slightly uncomfortable. "This is Ruari!" Anairir said. "Oh, we've met," I said. Ruari smiled and gave me that flirty look. I rolled my eyes and he furrowed his brow. I smiled, he obviously wasn't used to getting ignored by girls.
  8. "Oh, okay," Nair said. I went downstairs, hoping to escape, but Ruari followed me. Luckily, he didn't say anything. Once I was downstairs again, I found Cedric. I quickly went over to escape Ruari, again. "Oh hey Ruari," said Cedric. Great, Cedric's with the enemy. I butted in and said, "So, Cedric, I have a question." "Sure." I told him about my encounter with the old man and both his and Ruari's eyes widened. "Oh no, _____." he said. "What?" I demanded. "That kind of deal is only made if you don't have money." "Why? I had money. Why do look so worried?" "Those kind of deals are only made with his kind. And if you make that deal, then you sort of have to uhhh..." Ruari said, trailing off. "What?" "_____, that old man was a vampire. And now you've made that deal, he has a right to your blood."
  9. CLIFFHANGER! MWAHAHAHAHAHA! So anyway, that wraps up part 4. Sorry I had to plunge things into despair, I craved action. But don't worry, Cedric, Ruari, and Nair(Anairir) have their hearts set on saving you!
