Rory's nickname for Max is Norman, not Norton. That trivia always sticks in my head because it instantly reminded me of the infamous Psycho hotelier, which Rory explains was her association as well.
Not sure why this show still remains a firm favourite of mine, but glad to see I'm not alone.
