Doctor Ortez prepped for surgey, sterilizing her hands and putting on gloves. She shook her hand clearing her thoughts. Poor girl. She couldn't be more than 14, she was determined to do everything she could to save this girl and give her her normal life back again. She felt anger at the driver who hit the girl, she didn't even know the girl but she couldn't understand how anyone could just drive away. She walked into the OR room and began the surgery. -
That's sad D: that a reason why Alicia cries so much! It's that f---ing cute text!))
"No, not yet me and Ash plan on getting a job though..maybe by the end of the month I'll get a job" Alicia said sighing. "All I know for sure is that I'll get a job, I don't know what type of job yet but I'll get a job that can pay be able to pay the phone bill and at least 25% of the rent" Alicia said as she began searching for jobs on her phone. I sound like I'm getting a career, It's just a job..I can't believe I'll be going to college soon and this happen..why did this happen to us God? Did we displeased you? Alicia thought. She frowned and took a pause of searching for a job. She then looked at the text Caroline last sent her. "Dad, look at the text message Care bear sent me...before this happened" Alicia wiping her eyes. She then handed her father her phone. -
He nodded, taking the phone away. Reading it, Alan's face somehow became even more rigid. ".. Okay," he finally said, giving the phone back. He looked around for a nurse, and when he did, he said, "Hello, nurse.. My daughter.. Caroline Smith is in surgery. Is there a... Observation deck or something, where we can see the surgery? I just don't want to be in the dark about all of this."

Alicia took her phone and frowned. Alicia began typing sending a reply to Caroline. Even though she wouldn't get a reply back. Alicia closed her eyes once she was finished typing. Her text simply read: I love you too care bear, I love you so much care bear. Alicia sighed and placed her phone near by. She covered her face with her hands. Alicia felt tears filling in her eyes disliking the fact she couldn't help her sister. She couldn't do much but be useless. Alicia felt the tears streaming down. I'm so sorry this happened to you care bear, please get better soon Alicia thought.

"Hey, Alice?" Alan turned back to her. "I'm going to see how Care-bear is going. I'll be right back, okay?" He did a thumbs up, looking for clarification.

"OK" Alicia said as she quickly wiped her tears. She sighed still feeling useless. Her phone vibrated and she looked down at her phone. Alicia picked up her phone and looked at her text messages. My friends really need to stop worrying about me Alicia thought as she faked a smile. She sighed and closed her eyes. Alicia began thinking as she took a few small breaths. Alicia soon was deep into thought.

Doctor Ortez, slowly fix a blood vessel the had been cut when Caroline was hit. "Clamp" she said holding her hand out until a nurse placed it in her hand. She clamped either side of the vessel and then put in a temporary piece of plastic that would dissolve when the vessel had healed. She sewed the skin back up. There the sugery was finished. Well, at least this one was. She nodded to a nurse and walked out of the OR. She took off her gloves, staralization mask, and apron type thing and went to let the family know te news. -
"Wow... One artery-vein thing could do all that.." Alan muttered in slight amazement, forgetting that his daughter could have died. Alan sat down, tiredness falling onto him like a wave.

Soon once the surgery was over Alicia was taking a walk to relax. She was walking down the sidewalk wondering who could've done this. Nothing bad doesn't usually happen in our neighborhood why today? Why us? Alicia thought as she looked down at her phone sighing. She closed her eyes wishing she had her headphones and pockets. Unfortunately, Alicia was wearing her usual outfit so she didn't have any pockets.
Ash smiled slightly as he was walking towards the hopstial Caroline was located. Ash saw Alicia walking down the sidewalk. He had his black jacket on and his new headphones that his parents just got for him. "Alicia? What are you doing out here?" Ash asked curiously. He took off his jacket as Alicia opened her eyes and walked towards him. "Well, I just wanted to calm my nerves" Alicia said as Ash wrapped his jacket around her. Alicia slipped the jacket on and smiled. "I'm guessing you want to listen to music" Ash said as he put his headphones on Alicia. She chuckled softly feeling a bit better. Alicia nodded and plugged the headphones into her phone. Soon she was listening to Heartbeat By Stero Skyline. She sighed in relief and grabbed a hold of Ash's hand. "Thank you.." Alicia said smiling slightly. "You're welcome" Ash said as he pulled Alicia closer to him. He hugged Alicia and smiled. Ash then placed his hand on Alicia's cheek and lightly pressed his lips into her's. Alicia smiled into the kissed and closed her eyes. Ash soon did the same as Alicia arms her arms around his neck. -
care_bear19 NoviceDoctor Ortez went to find Caroline's family to tell them they could see her now. But she couldn't seem to fin anyone in the waiing room. She asked a nurse and one of them said they saw a girl go outside. Doctor Ortez grunt slightly at the teenagers kissing. "ahem, I don't mean to... interupt but your Caroline's sister right?"

Alicia blushed and released from the kiss. "Uh, it's fine...yes I am Caroline's sister,is she OK?" Alicia asked worried. Ash frowned slightly feeling a bit guilty. He was the one who wanted to leave the cafe. Ash sighed hoping Caroline was safe and sound at the moment. By the looks of it her injures may take a while for her to recover. Alicia held Ash's hand tightly hoping for good news.

She may take sometime to recover and there may be a little memory loss, but we won't know that until she wakes up" Doctor Ortez smiled lightly and reassuringly "Would you like to see her?"

"Yes I would love to see Caroline, can my boyfriend Ash come with me?" Alicia asked smiling slightly. Ash looked at Alicia and smiled. I'm glad she's looking on the bright side now Ash thought sighing happily.
