The other day, I was sitting afar in the bleachers, watching these people play dodgeball. All of a sudden, Peter (My friend from church) Is up to throw the ball. Well Sean (My ex) suddenly yells, "Hit the ball, Jew!" Peter, and I, are mormons. -.- | |

| I had to keep myself from bursting out laughing when I read this. You're taking it way too personally. Being called a jew, no matter what your religious viewpoint isnt actually inciting that you are jewish. The term started with gamers and eventually progressed onto the internet as slang. And is now a common insult with no relation what so ever to anything actually significant. | |

| I meant, I knew he didn't mean we was actually jewish. He was insulting us. | |

| Hmm. Being Jewish, I would have taken offense. If you're not actually Jewish, I'd just let it slide. Don't take it so seriously. | |

| Jewish people wouldn't actually be offended, actually. Unless they're unltra-sensitive, they wouldn't really mind. As non-Jews, laugh it off. | |

| I just think using a word that identifies with a group of people as an insult is rude and childish. |
