	At least in real life. I act pretty much the same in real life as I do on here (minus the random crude comments and I'm more polite and mannered in real life). I've met a lot of people my age, whether in school or in public like at a con or something, but it's never a long lasting thing. Even in school I couldn't find people who really cared to sit with me or talk. The two last people in real life I could really connect with were in Hawaii, both girls. Then when I came to Maine and spent that short time in a high school I tried to befriend this boy and girl who were friends. The boy was really nice and smart, but the girl was so quiet and put off like I was kryptonite. xP So she pretty much made it impossible for me and the guy to be friends. I don't really get it. I don't try too hard or anything, but I just never find people I can have a real connection with here. In fact, the person I have the most connection without outside of my family is an older woman at my church. xD

	Yeah, it's difficult. I think my problem is I've moved so damn much. Most people have their group of friends they're comfortable with.

	That has happened to me alot where I'm friends with someone but it doesn't last very long cuz they start ignoring me eventually and don't say anything about it. I do have some friends in real life but I don't get to see them all the time and I don't has a best friend (anymore). I always get jelous when I see people with their bff's and I'll be alone

	That happens to me at school where everyone else will have their group of friends. I have a group of friends at church so I'm happier there friend wise. I don't get along with a bunch of people in real life so theres people o don't want to be friends with too

	Eh, there's a season for everything. I'm sure I'll find my place socially, someday. :3

	I feel your pain, I'm crazy shy most of the time, though it isn't impossible for me to make friends, i'm not too fond of having to communicate to people i don't know :C

	hi so um i was reading you original post and can honestly say i i know what it's like i have only a few close friends everyone else just ignores me inless they are makeing mean comments,stareing at me, or doing something to get a rise out of me.

	im a memeber of the "no friend" club also.. you hear people my age (20) getting married.. and aside from gtq i dont have any friends around me

	I used to be that way, then I practiced the things that prevented me from getting connections. I'm still socially awkward as s---, but I've gotten better.

	I've never had trouble with the making friends part, just the keeping. They get bored of me after a week or so, usually.

	I think we're all here because we find it hard to connect with people in real life. We've had at least 3 people on this site including myself with Asperger's. I think that says everything.

	I never really had that problem. Idk. People tell me I'm really really sweet and friendly. I don't get why you all have that problem though. Your awesome people!

	I feel bad that peeps around me aren't as lucky as I am in that category. :(
