	I am 100% against affirmative action. It is nothing more than racism and sexism against white males. Racism is racism no matter who is getting discriminated against.

	It's actually kind of racist to be against it, I'd say. Minorities have been and still are at a disadvantage, and affirmative action is neccessary to help them to get an equal footing. It's not discrimination against white men because white men run society, and holding that kind of power, they've successfully cultivated opposition to affirmative action(among women even, who have been misled) because they fear they will lose their power in society. Why does one group have to hold power? What's wrong with equality? Affirmative action is about equality.

	How about they just try to make equal percentages of each race in...stuff? It might fail, but it's an idea.

	Its 2010, not 1964, minorities are at no less at a disadvantage than white men today. The racism I see in affirmative action is that it implies that white males are the only ones who don't need help from the state.

	There are way more poor minorities(blacks,Latinos) than there are poor white people is basically what I am saying, Hikaru.

	I think there should just be equal oppertunity for all. There shouldn't be favoring one group to solve racism problems. I agree minorities have had it hard in the past, but the way you get rid of racism is not favoring anyone, just giving equal rights and oppertunities to everyone regardless of race, gender, creed, ect.
