If Jesus were alive today, I believe he would be a libertarian. Discuss amongst yourselves.

Really, cuz I'd say left-leaning libertarian. I think Jesus would care more about helping the poor than about social issues. What makes him a libertarian is that he'd probably believe it was the responsibility of the individual to give to the poor. He'd also hate big government- Jesus always struck me as someone who distrusted political power. He distrusted alot of kinds of power, actually.

The last political power that Jesus got too close to nailed him to a tree. I cant blame him for having trust issues.

In all honesty, I don't think Jesus would be for any government. He would be for people depending on God instead of man.

Like I said in other thread, the world would be better if we were all like Jesus, minus the delusions.

I'm not sure who Jesus would vote for. I don't even know what a libertarian is. But I sure as hell know Jesus wouldn't vote for a bigot like Rick Santorum. He pisses me off in all sorts of ways.
