| My dad just retired out of the army after 24 years, going to Panama, Iraq and Afghanistan. And I am beyond damn proud of him. | |

Nice. I don't like war...I don't really celebrate Veteran's Day. In one way, I'm proud of those soldiers. In another, I'm disgusted. They're murderers, aren't they? Going around, killing people? I dunno, I've never liked soldiers or the army. They don't scare me, they...revolt me. Then again, there are those who played nice and didn't use their guns. I like those guys :D

| Freedom isn't free. I hate war, but I support troops/veterans. They've risked their butts to keep their countries citizens safe. | |

That's why I like 'em :) Because of them, we get the benefits. I just....don't like the whole "I'm proud of you! You killed the enemy!" bit. Because, what's missing in that, is the whole, "....the enmy who had a family and friends and a good life or a bad life it doesn't matter but he was alive and scared and wanted to live you might have been friends to late now you killed him good job another dead person who did nothing wrong except be in a country you were against YAYYYYYYYYY"

| That's why I hate war. But you know the enemy soldiers would have done the same thing if they could. It's a life and death situation. The government starts wars, innocent people get killed in the process. >.> | |

Every war ever started was done for one of two reasons, greed or religion. It's why I am an agressive atheist and believe in globalization. I'm not pro-war. But I am thankful for the people in this world who are willing to fight for the right reasons.
