I personally think that school should be longer and much more difficult. Those that fail would be removed and sent to work in menial labour while the intelligent and gifted would be properly trained to advance the knowledge of mankind as a whole.
Also, I think that you DO care, if only because you made the damn thread. -
While I side with IHLAOY on that only the skilled should be given free advanced education, I disagree that school should be longer. Just because you would be in school longer does not mean you'd get more out of it. The finland system is one of the most successful yet it has when of the shortest school hours.
