| A room opened up before her, a cave. but Aerie didn't know it, she had fallen asleep again. Bats hung from the ceiling like short black stalagmites. Suddenly the boat made a soft thud as it ran into a limestone deposit. Pointed limestone sculptures rose up around a small platform, and suddenly appeared the man who had tortured Aerie. Aerie awoke then and crawled ashore, to scared to move elsewhere in the eyes of a demon. Suddenly the demon was holding a mirror, pointing it at Aerie. Aerie jumped back, touchng her face. She looked like the demon too. | |

| Then a sweet voice spoke, it came from the other demon. "Hello Aerie, my name is Ford. Do not be afraid, I am your guider, friend and partner." WTF? thought Aerie. Partner? "Satan, our god, has chosen you to be my mate. Together we shall do as he asks." Aerie lost herself in his voice, immediately believing everything he was saying. As he talked, she started to see a different person. A tan boy, with sandy brown hair and faded dirty jeans. He wore no shirt. "And now you must be starting to see the real me. I can see the real you. We were these fake mortal skins to help us posses more easier, but I knew I couldn't do that with you. I was imprinted with you, so I had to go into demon skin. Its all very complicated, but your pick it up along the way. Follow me, we must go to get our first task." | |

| Ford and Aerie left in their human skins. Luckily, Ford was wearing warm clothes. It was now snowing. Ford pointed to a group of people. "There's our assignment." There was a girl clutching her stomach and another reaching to help her and two adults, probably one of the girls parents. Ford lead the way, his skin starting to turn an ashy black. Aerie wondered if that was suppose t happen, but kept her mouth shut and followed. |
