| I looked back and bit my lip again. The habit had started when I was just a meer child in grade school, and it was the day I'd made up a song for the talent show. I played it on the piano to the whole class, singing along. As everyone clapped, a smile lit up my face. But in the front row, was a girl with a dirty look, sending me hateful expressions. | |
