I started walking towards the car.

He followed her.

I walked up to our car and slipped into the passenger seat.

He climbed into the driver's seat and put the wires together correctly again. "So, where to?"

I shrugged. "Movies?"

He nodded. Why not? He drove out of the parking structure, unsure of where the movie theater was.

I sighed.

He smiled a little. "So... Japan..."

"Yep." I said. "What about it?"

"Just... I've never actually been out of the country. I have a passport, but I've never used it..." He frowned.

I laughed bitterly. "I've barely been out of that god damn town."

"Until the past few days, anyway." He frowned, a bit confused. "I figured you would've lived somewhere else in your life. Since you're 280, right?"

"Yeah, well, father doesn't like us leaving the area because of the other clans. And that castle, it's been around for 2500 years. I don't think they intend on moving, at all."
