Here's a pretty song we sang in choir for contest last year: Waters ripple and flow drifting to the sea gentle falling stream ever calling to me gentle falling stream ever calling to me Waters ripple and flow rushing to the sea rivers deep and wide ever calling to me rivers deep and wide ever calling to me Can you hear the river? Can you hear the sea? Joining with the earth in a song of peace... It goes on a little from there and I can't remember but it sounds better when you sing it.

oh here's another i wrote called "inspiration": i'm lying here on my bed notebook in one hand, pen in the other. trying to think of a poem or song to write down right here, on this paper. waiting for an inspiration to jump to my fingers and write itself down i know that its there, that little inspiration. poor thing must be shy, hiding back in my mind. im chewing my pen now, thinking real hard, trying to meditate, anything to coax that inspiration. i try to think of meaningful things like friends and life, love and death. still, there is nothing, maybe it just needs some time. i'll give it a break, as i put down my pen...

umm heres the poem i wrote before in another forum: it doesnt have a name... you loved me and i love you. how could this be? you sent waves of darkness and drawned my heart. but it survived. you broke my heart and shattered it into tiny pieces. but it became whole again. you pierced my heart with a sharp dagger and killed it. but the wound healed and and its alive again. you hurt me in so many ways, killed my heart, and left it to die. why does it keep suviving? because i love you. and i will always love you no matter what. you put me through pain and made my life hell but i always run back to you. i cant ever let you go. you are my love and my life. nothing can ever separate us. we live off each other now. so will you love me today? tomorrow? yesterday? but the one thing i hope is that you love me always. because i know i always will.

Wow, there are some good poets here! I'll have a try now: A special world for you and me, A special bond one connot see, It wraps us up in its cobweb, And holds us fiercley in its womb, It's fingers spread like find spun gold, Gentley nestling us to the rold, Like silken thread it holds us fast, Bonds like this are meant to last, And though at times a thread may break, A new one forms in it's wake, To bind us closer and keep us strong, In a special world, where we belong. A special someone inspired it. ;)
