| Okay, if you read the Poem thread you probably already know, but now it's a poetry contest! I'll mention the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in my next quiz, and you'll also have the satsifaction. If you wrote your poem on the poem thread, that can count or you can write another poem. Up to 3 poems per person, please don't copy a poem, and QTquiz guy dude, I really hope this isn't aganist any rules! Thanks guys! No deadline set yet, I'll set one later! | |

| Roses are red, violets are blue. if friends were flowers, i would not pick you. i'd come to your field, every single day i'd talk to you sweetly and chase the bugs away i would water you, when times were dry and when it would storm, i'd cover the sky. if your stem ever weakened i'd be there with a post, i'd help you stand up, you'd be stronger that most. so if friends were flowers, i wouldn't take you from your dirt. doing so would be selfish, and only bring you hurt. |

| i'm lying here on my bed notebook in one hand, pen in the other. trying to think of a poem or song to write down right here, on this paper. waiting for an inspiration to jump to my fingers and write itself down i know that its there, that little inspiration. poor thing must be shy, hiding back in my mind. im chewing my pen now, thinking real hard, trying to meditate, anything to coax that inspiration. i try to think of meaningful things like friends and life, love and death. still, there is nothing, maybe it just needs some time. i'll give it a break, as i put down my pen... |

| thanks! its really rare for me to write good poetry though, cuz i have to be thoroughly inspired, which happens a lot when im spending a lot of time outside and in nature, and im quite lazy. two of those i wrote while at camp, away from civilization for a whole week...lol. but yeah thanks again! | |
