I gotz a 68% T.T oh wellz not my fault i loev to use chat spk lolz but i gotz a 95% in ela class so HAH! In ur face :P and now im acting like a stupid 5 yr old yes i know the shame XD im really bored as u can see

I'm a little disturbed by the thought of someone getting below 100%, unless they chose the fourth answer to question ten, in which case it's the maker's fault. This is the type of test one might expect towards the beginning of grade school. Public education (or lack thereof) doesn't appear to be doing its job, and I'm sure writing shorthand as often as people do isn't helping anything. To me, there's little excuse for the latter -- it's just plain lazy. "Lyk" versus "like", for example. What the hell is that? If people think it's cool, let me tell you: it isn't cool in the slightest to write like a five-year-old.

Many people seemed to be suprised that children over 10 don't know grammer. It doesn't suprise me at all. I go to a High school where about 80% of the kids think that "conversate" is a word. And a lot of them admit that when they write papers they abreviate with numbers.
