Many ignorant people think hippies are just dirty, drug addicted, bell bottom wearing kids from the sixties when in fact they are the original movers and shakers who inspired and changed the world in an amazing decade. They were some of the most intelligent, creative, peaceful, free spirited, happy, liberated and giving people ever to exist and the funny thing is that I hear people making hippie jokes who possess the exact same beliefs and qualities as the so called hippies (AKA "punk rockers"). Many of the brilliant minds of today that changed the world were and/ or are hippies.
